Migration is where cloud plans meet reality. Dependencies surface late, cutover windows are tight and business users expect everything to keep working. We plan and execute migrations so that disruption is minimal and every move can be reversed until it is proven.

We begin with discovery tooling and interviews to map application dependencies, data flows and performance baselines. Workloads are grouped into waves by dependency, risk and business value, with early waves chosen to build confidence. For each wave we define the migration pattern, testing approach, cutover plan and rollback criteria.

Execution is automated wherever possible: infrastructure as code, scripted data replication and repeatable runbooks reduce errors and speed up later waves. After cutover, we validate performance, security and cost against baselines, decommission legacy infrastructure promptly and capture lessons for the next wave. Where re-architecting is justified, we modernize during migration rather than moving technical debt as-is.

How do you avoid downtime during cutover?

We use techniques such as continuous data replication, blue-green deployments and staged traffic shifting to keep cutover windows short. Every cutover has tested rollback criteria agreed with the business beforehand.

Can you migrate databases and data platforms as well as applications?

Yes. Our cloud engineers work with our data engineering practice to migrate databases, warehouses and pipelines, including reconciliation to prove data integrity.
