Interviews only tell you so much. Contract-to-hire lets you work with a professional on real projects, inside your team, before making a permanent offer. It reduces hiring risk for you and gives the candidate a clear view of the role and culture before committing.

We agree the evaluation period, conversion terms and success criteria with you at the start, and make sure candidates understand them too. Candidates are assessed by our practitioners before they are presented, so the contract period is about confirming fit and performance rather than discovering basic skills gaps.

During the contract phase, we check in with you and the professional to gather feedback and address any concerns early. When you are ready to convert, we manage the offer process, including compensation discussions and the transition to your payroll. If the fit is not right, the arrangement can end at the agreed point without the cost and disruption of an unsuccessful permanent hire.

Most evaluation periods last three to six months, which is long enough to see performance on real work. The exact period is agreed with you before the contractor starts.

Is there a fee when we convert a contractor?

Conversion terms vary by role and contract length and are agreed in writing at the outset. That way there are no surprises when you decide to make a permanent offer.
