Modern data platforms

Implementation and migration on leading cloud data platforms, optimized for performance, security and cost.

Overview

Cloud data platforms offer elastic scale, lower maintenance and a strong foundation for AI, but only if they are implemented with care. We implement new platforms and migrate legacy warehouses and data lakes so that what you end up with is simpler, faster and cheaper to run than what you started with.

Implementation covers the foundations that are expensive to retrofit: environment and workspace design, identity and access, network security, naming and modeling standards, cost tagging and workload isolation. For migrations, we inventory existing objects and reports, retire what is no longer used and move the rest in value-driven waves, with automated reconciliation between old and new.

We tune for performance and cost from day one, setting budgets, monitoring consumption and right-sizing compute as adoption grows. The platform is also designed to serve AI workloads, including feature engineering, vector search and governed access to unstructured data, so it supports what comes next as well as today's reporting.

What you receive

  1. 01Platform foundation with security, access and environment design
  2. 02Migration inventory and wave plan
  3. 03Migrated data, pipelines and reports with reconciliation evidence
  4. 04Cost management controls, budgets and dashboards
  5. 05Platform runbooks and administrator training

Technologies we work with

  • Snowflake
  • Databricks
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Google BigQuery
  • Amazon Redshift
  • Terraform
  • Unity Catalog

We are technology-agnostic: tools are chosen to fit your requirements and existing investments.

Questions we often hear

How do you minimize disruption during a migration?

We migrate in waves, run old and new platforms in parallel for a limited period and use automated reconciliation to prove the outputs match. Clear exit criteria keep parallel running short.

Will a cloud platform cost more than our current warehouse?

It can if consumption is not managed. We build tagging, budgets, workload isolation and performance tuning in from the start, and retire unused assets before migration so you are not paying to move them.
